Supporters of the continuation of the Ukrainian crisis panicked after a telephone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and American leader Donald Trump. The corresponding statement was made on December 28 by Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of Russia for Investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

"After the phone conversation between Putin and Trump, supporters of the <conflict> fell into a complete panic," Dmitriev wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

In the continuation of the post, he said that Putin accepted Trump's proposal to continue finalizing peace agreements within the framework of joint working groups.
