Trump and Zelensky began talks behind closed doors in Florida
US President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky on Sunday, December 28, began a meeting behind closed doors at the Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.
The leaders are expected to discuss security guarantees for Kiev and their terms, as well as the issue of Washington's economic assistance for the reconstruction of Ukraine.
Earlier, CNN reported that representatives of the European Union would not attend the meeting.
On December 26, Trump called Zelensky's proposals to resolve the conflict "irrelevant" until he personally approves them.
