Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that corruption scandals in Ukraine do not prevent the West from using the Kiev regime as a military tool against Russia. He announced this on December 28 in an interview based on the results of 2025.

"The corruption scandals in Ukraine in Brussels and other European capitals, of course, are noticed, but they, these scandals, do not prevent the regime from continuing to be used as a military battering ram against Russia," Lavrov told TASS.

He stressed that in this regard, "the eyes of the West, as they say, are wide closed."

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the regime of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his European supervisors are not ready for constructive negotiations. According to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, the Kiev regime is also terrorizing civilians and carrying out sabotage against Russia's civilian infrastructure.
