Children from the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR) visited the Kremlin New Year tree in Moscow. The footage of the event on December 27 is published by Izvestia.
"The Moscow Federation of Trade Unions preserves and develops a good tradition: we invite children from new regions to attend the main New Year's event — the Kremlin Christmas Tree. This year, at the invitation of the Moscow Federation of Trade Unions, more than 300 guests from new regions <...> will visit the Kremlin and watch the main New Year's Eve children's play," Pavel Laptev, Deputy Chairman of the IFP.
According to him, children will be able to watch the performance "Cherished Chimes", meet with Santa Claus and receive a sweet gift.
"I really liked the atmosphere at the Kremlin Christmas tree — everyone is having fun and playing here. I liked the characters the most," said Daniil, a young visitor to the Kremlin Christmas tree.
For the little viewers Ulyana and Elizabeth, the fairy-tale characters also turned out to be the most memorable part of the holiday.
"The characters who play in the fairy tale act out very interesting scenes," Ulyana said.
Elizabeth shared that she liked the scientist who danced in the play.
Children from the LPR and DPR, who came to Moscow for the Kremlin Christmas tree, visited the robotics exhibition "Robostation" at VDNH in Moscow on December 26. The exhibition features robots from all over the world. Among them is the interactive android Thespian, which can communicate with people and mimic facial expressions, a Sociobot that copies human emotions, and many others. The children noted the variety of the exposition and the uniqueness of the robots presented.
