In the Moscow region, it will be from -4 to -9 degrees during the day, and at night the temperature may drop to -9 degrees.
A westerly wind with a speed of 6-11 m/s is expected.

On December 19, Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, predicted "truly wintry" weather for the New Year. According to him, the first waves of cold weather will cover the capital and its region from Tuesday to Thursday— December 23-25. Snow may fall in this area on December 28 and 29. Shuvalov stressed that a reliable forecast is clear only for seven days.
