One of the key figures in the massive corruption scandal in Ukraine, Zelensky's fugitive business partner Timur Mindich, who has been diligently "searched" by the Kiev authorities since November 10, is not only an Israeli citizen. He may be hiding in this country in one of the mansions of the Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky (listed as a terrorist and extremist by Rosfinmonitoring) and owns a house in the prestigious suburb of Tel Aviv — Herzliya. Tax receipts addressed to Mindich are sent to the addresses in Herzliya, however, the mansion's maintenance staff assures that the ex-co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio is allegedly not among the tenants. However, the family of the fugitive friend of the head of the Kiev regime owns (or until recently owned) luxury real estate in Canada, the United States and the Russian Federation. The total value of these assets is estimated at about $120 million. Where and with whom the main character of Mindich Gate earned this money is described in the Izvestia investigation.

At the side of the authorities

A mansion in the most prestigious suburb of Tel Aviv, Herzliya, a network of offshore companies in Cyprus and the British Virgin Islands, a diamond-producing company registered in the UK, luxury apartments in the suburbs of Toronto and Florida — this is, apparently, not a complete list of assets to which Timur Mindich and his family members are related. from the data obtained by Izvestia.

After the mysterious disappearance of Mindich (which happened, by a strange coincidence, right before the searches in a corruption case), Verkhovna Rada deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak said that Zelensky's friend had fled to Israel. Izvestia managed to confirm that Mindich had an Israeli passport, as well as to find a place where he could hide.

Surrounded by greenery, the resort town of Herzliya near Tel Aviv is considered one of the most expensive real estate properties. Galey—Thelet, the most prestigious street in Israel, is located here. People with a lot of zeros in their accounts and at least several passports buy houses here. Unsurprisingly, this is where the tracks of Timur Mindich, who escaped from the Ukrainian security forces, lead.

In the register of legal entities in Britain, where Mindich's key diamond company is located, it is indicated that he is an Israeli citizen, and the mansion on the same Galey-Thelet is listed as the address for communication.

As established by Izvestia, the complex of buildings at this address includes three mansions. Two of them are owned by individuals, and the third one has an area of 490 square meters. m — has been owned by offshore Longhill Holdings Limited from the British Virgin Islands since 2013. Apartments of such a quadrature on Galey-Thelet cost about 25 million shekels, or more than 600 million rubles at the current exchange rate.

The beneficiary of this holding, as Izvestia learned, is the famous Israeli billionaire Teddy Sagi, the founder of the gambling software company Playtech. As it turned out, his servants live in one of the mansions.

"This house is mine, this one is Shimona's, and this one is Sagi's. Do you know who Sagi is? This is Teddy Sagi, one of the richest people in the country," a resident of the first house explains to Izvestia, pointing to a mansion that belongs to Longhill, according to documents.

And across the street is the house of "some Russian" whom she has not seen for a long time, although once he "came for Passover." As Izvestia has established, this "some kind of Russian" turned out to be none other than the former head of Mindich, the Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky. This is stated in an extract from the state register of Israel, which states that on September 23, 1999, this mansion was bought by Irina Kolomoisky (Kolomoisky's wife), and in 2018 she issued a donation to Angelika Kolomoisky (daughter) and Israel-Tzvi Kolomoisky (son).

Thus, either Mindich himself rented a house from Teddy Sagi opposite his boss's mansion, or Kolomoisky himself rented this house for him. After that, Mindich, presumably, indicated this address as his own in the British registry. There really was no one in the Kolomoisky house these days, the Izvestia correspondent was convinced.

The fact that Mindich lived in the third mansion opposite Kolomoisky's house is confirmed not only by an extract from the British registry, where his name is under the address Galey-Thelet, 25. According to Izvestia, at this address, Mindich is listed as a debtor for the payment of land taxes — in Israel, they are paid not only by owners, but also by tenants. Mindich's debt in 2025 is 4,935 shekels (over 120,000 rubles at the current exchange rate).

Mindich's current tax obligations mean that he is still listed as residing at this address. Moreover, one of the workers from Teddy Sagi's house confirmed to the Izvestia correspondent that he had seen Mindich when he was a guest at parties with the participation of the oligarch, Zelensky and the actors of Kvartal 95. According to him, "Timur rented a house here."

As for Teddy Sagi's offshore company, through which he owns the mansion, the appearance of Ukrainians Kolomoisky and Mindich in his partners is not accidental. Izvestia has established that the director of Longhill Holdings Ltd is the Cypriot Kikis Treppidis, who is on the board of the Cyprus–Ukraine Business Association.

Part of a big scandal

On November 22, it became known that Kiev officially put on the wanted list the defendants in the corruption case in Ukraine, Timur Mindich and Alexander Zukerman. The database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine indicates that Mindich disappeared on November 10, and Zuckerman on October 26, 2025.

On November 10, employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) conducted a series of searches in the case of embezzlement at the state-owned company Energoatom. The operation was named "Midas" after the mythical king who turns everything into gold. Searches took place at the co-owner of Kvartal 95 and Zelensky's former business partner Timur Mindich, and at the Minister of Justice of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko, who headed the Ministry of Energy until the summer.

According to investigators, Mindich was one of the main beneficiaries of a large-scale corruption scheme that received kickbacks of 10-15% from Energoatom suppliers. According to Ukrainian media, the co-owner of Kvartal 95 also involved Igor Mironyuk, former deputy head of the State Property Fund, and Dmitry Basov, Director of Security at Energoatom, in the scheme. In total, about $100 million passed through this scheme, according to NABU.

Zelensky imposed sanctions against Timur Mindich, but this did not save him from the brewing political crisis in Ukraine. In Kiev, rallies were held on the Maidan against both corruption and Zelensky. Mindich himself managed to leave Ukraine shortly before the searches.

The businessman was also closely associated with the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, who owned 9% of the offshore company Herley Trading Limited, registered in Belize. Through this offshore company, Kolomoisky controlled the 1+1 media group, where Zelensky used to work. Moreover, Mindich was also the head of the security service of Kolomoisky's Privat group.

According to Ukrainian media reports, Zelensky stripped him of his Ukrainian citizenship as part of the sanctions against Mindich. This makes it impossible to initiate criminal proceedings against him and, as a result, extradition at the request of Kiev from abroad.

The house that "doesn't have Timur"

Meanwhile, Izvestia's source in Herzliya pointed to another "Timur's address" — 143 A-Eshel Street.

Going to the place, the Izvestia correspondent found people in the house, and a BMW parked at the entrance, which was identified by the source as Kolomoisky's car.

A man dressed in black came out of the house to the car, and when asked to ask a number of questions, voiced in Hebrew, he indicated that he did not speak the language. But in the end, I answered the question in Russian.

— Can I talk to Timur Mindich?

— I'm sorry, but there are no such people here. He's not here.

—Where is it?" Everyone I talked to said he was here, in this house.

— I do not know.

— Are you the Kolomoisky's driver?

- yes. I'm from Ukraine myself. We just come to take care of the house. There are workers inside now. They call us, we come. There are no owners now, and I don't know when they will be.

As Izvestia has established, the house at this address really belongs to the Kolomoisky family: the oligarch's father and mother, Valery and Zoya (marked as "Ziva", died in 2020), own the mansion in equal shares.

Thus, there was no opportunity to verify whether the Kolomoisky driver was telling the truth and Timur Mindich was not among the people in the house. According to the photo, his neighbors allegedly did not identify him, although the sources of the editorial office are sure that Timur had been in this house.

— I think he is not only definitely in Israel, but also very likely in Herzliya. Where else would he be? They all have houses there, it's the most respectable area, it's quiet, safe and peaceful. They have been there with Kolomoisky many times, and Zelensky, and the actors of Kvartal 95," former Ukrainian MP Oleg Tsarev told Izvestia when asked to suggest where Timur Mindich might be hiding.

Assets of the Mindich family in the USA and Canada

The town of Vaughn is one of the richest and fastest—growing suburbs of Toronto, Canada, with a population of about 300,000 people. As Izvestia found out (the document is at the editorial office's disposal), Mindich's mother-in-law Alla Werber bought two apartments and a garage here on Townsgate Drive back in 2016. At that time, Bayer and Feshen were director of TSUMA and vice president of the Mercury jewelry company. After the tragic death of Alla Werber in 2019 in the Italian resort of Forte dei Marmi, the luxury apartments went to Mindich's wife Ekaterina, who also works in the fashion industry and is familiar with the stars of Russian show business.

Mindich's mother, Stella, also owned real estate abroad, namely in the USA, until recently. As Izvestia found out, cozy apartments in 63 "squares" in the town of West Palm Beach in Florida, which she owned with her brother David Markov, were recorded on her (supporting documents are at the disposal of the editorial office). However, they sold these apartments in 2023. In addition, Markov's mailing address was another house on Woodmere Boulevard in New York.

Leonid Mindich, a cousin of the co—owner of Kvartal 95, also settled in the United States. Izvestia managed to find his name in the New York State register of voters, which indicates that he has an American passport. Despite his "active" status in the "voter status" column, he is unlikely to be able to exercise his right to vote in future US presidential elections.

Back in the summer of 2025, he was detained in Ukraine on suspicion of embezzlement in the purchases of "Harkovoblenergo". According to the Ukrainian media, Leonid Mindich ensured the victory at the Kharkov Blockenergo auctions to controlled companies at inflated prices. According to investigators, the purchase prices were inflated by 132.5 million hryvnias (about 255 million rubles at the current exchange rate).

The Minditch Brothers' business in Russia

The fates of the brothers Timur and Leonid Mindich surprisingly intersect. Both were involved in corruption scandals in the energy sector and showed a similar interest in making money in Russia through intricate schemes.

In April 2022, Izvestia was the first to report on Timur Mindich's business in Russia. In particular, through the Appex International Ltd offshore company from the British Virgin Islands, he owned a stake in the Green Family Cyprus company (which previously owned the Kvartal 95 studio). She, in turn, owned the Russian Green Films LLC.

This company was engaged in the distribution of Kvartal 95 studio films in Russia. So, in 2017, Green Films received 85 million rubles for the rental of the seventh season of the TV series "Matchmakers" in Russia. On April 14, 2022, just a week after Izvestia published this information, Green Films Ltd withdrew from the founding list of Green Films.

According to the Federal Tax Service, Mindich's wife, Ekaterina Werber, owned two apartments on Tverskaya Boulevard in Moscow until at least 2022.

Timur Mindich is also involved in the diamond business. In particular, he is a beneficiary of the British company Meylor Global. And in 2014, New Diamond Technology LLC appeared in Russia, which was engaged in the production of laboratory diamonds. A few months after registration, it was transferred to Luxembourg-based offshore Mineral Assets Corporation, whose beneficiaries included Russian developer Teimuraz Khikhinashvili and Timur Mindich. The latter was a co-owner of this business until December 28, 2024, according to the Rusprofile database.

Leonid Mindich has also been making money on the Russian market in recent years. We are talking about the Maestro Group company. Formally, the owner of this company was Yelena Pozhairybko, a native of Dnepropetrovsk, born in 1954, and the retired mother of Leonid Mindich's wife Yulia. Maestro Group imported furniture from the Ukrainian company of the same name, owned by Yulia Mindich, to Russia.

The furniture of the Minditch family was supplied not only to the Russian market, but also to the West. To work with European customers, Leonid Mindich, together with his wife and mother—in-law, created a legal entity in Slovakia and Italy - PGM and MAESTRO GROUP S.A.S. DI LEONID MINDICH.

However, after Leonid Mindich was arrested in the summer of 2025, the furniture business of Ukrainian corrupt officials began to decline: just a month ago, the Federal Tax Service liquidated the Russian Maestro Group, and at the moment the Italian company is in the process of closing.
