Boeing has received an $8.6 billion contract to supply 25 new F-15 aircraft to the Israeli Air Force. This was reported on December 29 by the Reuters news agency, citing a statement from the Pentagon.

"This contract provides for the design, integration, instrumentation, testing, production and supply of 25 new F-15IA aircraft for the Israeli Air Force," the Pentagon said in a statement.

This was announced after a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Florida.

On December 29, Trump announced that the United States was considering the possibility of supplying fifth-generation F-35 fighter-bombers to Turkey. The American leader made this statement during talks with Netanyahu.
