The State Duma recalled the laws coming into force in January

The law on increasing the minimum wage by more than 20%, as well as the law on the indexation of insurance pensions by 7.6%, will enter into force on January 1, 2026. Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma, spoke about this and other laws that come into force on New Year's Eve in an interview.

The parliamentarian clarified that starting in 2026, the minimum wage will amount to 27,093 rubles. The living wage and a number of social benefits will also increase.
