Pope Leo XIV sent 100,000 portions of soup to Ukraine as humanitarian aid. This was announced by the Vatican's press service on December 27.

"Three trucks carrying 100,000 grocery bags that, with a little water, turn into energy—rich soups with chicken and vegetables: Pope Leo XIV's 'small gesture' offering vital assistance to Ukrainian families who <...> will receive humanitarian aid from the Vatican," the publication says.
