In Bashkiria, a section of the M-5 Ural highway was closed due to worsening weather

The section of the federal highway M-5 Ural in the Republic of Bashkortostan is temporarily closed due to the deterioration of the weather situation. This was announced on December 28 by the chief state inspector of the region, Vladimir Sevastyanov.

"Due to the deterioration of weather conditions and in order to ensure road safety, a temporary traffic restriction is being introduced for freight and passenger transport on the M-5 Ural highway from 1,480 to 1,548 km," Sevastyanov wrote on his Telegram channel.

He clarified that, according to preliminary information, the restrictions will be in effect until 09:00 local time (07:00 Moscow time) on December 29.

In St. Petersburg, on December 24, traffic started ahead of schedule at the transport interchange with the entrance to Pulkovo Airport. It is noted that the construction was completed one year ahead of schedule.
