Korostelev failed to qualify for the Tour de Ski sprint

Savely Korostelev failed to qualify for the quarterfinals of the freestyle sprint at the first stage of the multi-day Tour de Ski race in Italy.

In qualifying, the Russian skier did not get into the top 30, as he lost to Norwegian Johannes Klebo by almost eight seconds. Korostelev covered the distance in 2 minutes 35.05 seconds.

As noted by Sport-Express, on Monday, December 29, individual races for women and men will be held as part of the Tour de Ski.
