New York Mayor Eric Adams advised residents of the city not to leave their homes during heavy snowfalls and humorously spoke about the increase in the birth rate. This was reported on December 28 by the New York Post (NYP).
"Stay at home. This is a good day to make a baby," the mayor said.
Adams also noted that, despite the bad weather, residents of the financial capital of the United States should try to enjoy what is happening.
It is specified that New York was covered by a powerful snowstorm, which resulted in more than 18 cm of snow. According to the newspaper, this snowfall was the heaviest in the city in the last four years.
