Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Boris Chernyshov (LDPR) proposed to appoint an insurance pension from the date of the right to it, provided that all necessary requirements are confirmed. This was reported on December 28 with reference to the deputy's address to the deputy chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova.

"I ask you to consider and support the initiative to appoint an insurance pension from the date of the right to it, provided that all necessary conditions (age, seniority, points) are confirmed," Chernyshov stressed.

According to him, quoted by RIA Novosti, the procedure for applying for a citizen's application should be preserved.

"In case of appeal later than the date of the right, payment of the pension and its delivery must be made for the entire period starting from this date, with compensation for all lost amounts. This will completely eliminate the financial losses of a citizen due to late treatment, ensuring that they receive the entire amount due," the deputy said.

Earlier, on December 26, it was reported that the majority of Russian pensioners will receive their January pension ahead of schedule — by December 30. The measure applies to those who receive payments on New Year's holidays, while insurance pensions will be accrued with an increase of 7.6%. The pension will be received automatically, and the post offices will deliver the payments on time.
