A teenager stabbed a former classmate to death at a New Year's disco at school. This was announced on December 27 by a source of Izvestia.
The incident occurred in the village of Kyzyl-Mazhylak in the Republic of Tyva. A 17-year-old young man who had previously studied at this school, but left after the 9th grade, came to the disco. He had an argument with a high school student he knew. They went outside, where the newcomer stabbed a peer with a knife.
The police detained a 17-year-old local resident, the Interior Ministry of the Republic of Tyva reported. A criminal case has been opened into the murder, the regional Investigative Committee added.
