Details of the liquidation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants in Kosovtseve have become known

Military personnel of the Vostok group of forces during the liberation of the village of Kosovtsevo in the Zaporizhia region destroyed a group of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) during the cleaning of an apartment building. One of the Ukrainian soldiers confused the Russian fighters with his colleagues. This was announced on December 27 by the platoon commander with the call sign Typhoon in an interview with RIA Novosti.

"We enter the house, and the enemy comes out. Without a bulletproof vest, wearing dark glasses. He thought his own people were coming. They worked it out right away, and there were two more opponents in the house," the serviceman said.

He stressed that the Russian military did not immediately enter the building, but first "threw grenades."
