Olympic champion reacted to Shevchenko's call to remove Russian allies from the Olympic Games

On December 26, two-time Olympic biathlon champion Dmitry Vasiliev responded to the call of the head of the Ukrainian Football Association, Andrei Shevchenko, to exclude Russia's allies from the Olympic Games.

"If earlier he was perceived as a reasonable person, then these words speak about his unreasonableness. Or they promised him something good in the country for this statement," Vasiliev said.

He also noted that all Ukrainian leaders, including Shevchenko, must follow the rules set by the country's authorities.
