The wife of the deceased military officer from Novosibirsk was given a pension.

The widow of a serviceman from Novosibirsk, who contacted Russian President Vladimir Putin directly, has been awarded a pension. This was announced on December 19 by the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Novosibirsk region.

Earlier that day, during the "Results of the Year", Putin apologized to the wife of the deceased soldier for the sluggishness of civil servants. Kristina Grebi, the wife of a soldier who died in the special military operation zone (SVO) in 2024, who was left alone with two children, addressed the Russian leader. According to her, her family currently does not receive a survivor's pension.

Later, the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia opened a criminal case on negligence after the appeal of the wife of the deceased military man.
