The State Duma proposed to increase fines for the imposition of illegal penalties
Deputies of the State Duma (State Duma) from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, led by the first deputy chairman of the party, Yuri Afonin, proposed to increase the responsibility of employers for imposing illegal disciplinary penalties on employees. This is evidenced by the data of the draft law, which was reviewed by RIA Novosti on December 16.
"The imposition by an employer of a disciplinary penalty, subsequently recognized as illegal, on an employee, as well as a violation of the procedure for bringing an employee to disciplinary responsibility, entails the imposition of an administrative fine on officials in the amount of 30 thousand to 50 thousand rubles; on persons engaged in business activities without forming a legal entity — from 30 to 50 thousand rubles; for legal entities — from 100 thousand to 200 thousand rubles," the text says.
