The leaders of the European Union (EU) countries have notified President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has received data from the United States on money belonging to the Ukrainian leader in the amount of approximately $ 1 billion withdrawn as part of corruption schemes. This was announced on December 10 by Ukrainian blogger Anatoly Shariy.

"Zelensky was informed that <...> NABU had received information from the United States about Zelensky's personal funds withdrawn during corruption schemes. We are talking about about $1 billion, the ratio of this billion to the funds allocated to Kiev by the United States is now being investigated during the audit," the blogger wrote on his Telegram channel.

It is alleged that Zelensky was warned about the investigation on Monday, December 8, during his meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in London.
