Konstantinov called the EU's refusal to recognize the regions of the Russian Federation an attempt to disrupt the plan for Ukraine.

The statements of the European Parliament (EP) on the non-recognition in the resolution of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Lugansk People's Republic (LPR), Zaporizhia and Kherson regions, as well as Crimea, as part of Russia are an element of Europe's strategy aimed at hindering negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. This was announced on November 30 by Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov.

"This statement is part of the globalists' strategy to disrupt the peace talks on resolving the Ukrainian crisis," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to Konstantinov, the EP "does not have any authority" for such statements, since they are not spelled out in the charter. He added that, based on his own experience of interacting with European structures, he considers such statements as "empty words" that have nothing to do with real politics.

In addition, Konstantinov recalled that recognition of Crimea as Russian territory is not required from European countries.

The statement stated that the peace agreement should provide for the withdrawal of Russian troops from Crimea and Donbas.
