On October 30, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic, Denis Pushilin, ordered the liquidation of the Ministry of Defense of the region in connection with the region's integration into the Russian Federation.

"I decree to liquidate (abolish) The Ministry of Defense of the Donetsk People's Republic," reads the text of the decree of the head of the DPR.

It is specified that the ministry is being liquidated in connection with the reunification of the republic with the Russian Federation. It is planned to complete the liquidation procedure within six months. A specially created liquidation commission will deal with this issue.
