Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that all Iran's enriched uranium reserves must be destroyed. He made the corresponding statement on September 26 at the session of the UN General Assembly.

According to the Israeli Prime Minister, the IDF has already caused significant damage to Iran's nuclear program. However, Netanyahu stressed that it is necessary to remain vigilant.

"We must not allow Iran to restore its military nuclear potential. Iran has reserves of enriched uranium. These stocks must be destroyed, and UN Security Council sanctions against Iran must be restored tomorrow," he said. The speech of the Israeli prime minister is broadcast on the website of the online television broadcasting of the United Nations.

On September 23, US President Donald Trump declared that Iran cannot possess nuclear weapons. The American leader added that from the very beginning of his presidential term he had advocated the suspension of Iran's nuclear program.

On September 16, the US Department of Energy announced that Iran's nuclear program, including all uranium enrichment facilities, should be completely shut down. It was clarified that Iran is expected to cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

On September 24, Iranian President Masoud Peseshkian stated that the Islamic Republic does not set itself the goal of obtaining nuclear weapons. He also noted that some European countries wanted to put pressure on Tehran through anti-Iranian sanctions.
