Starting from January 1, 2026, Russians will be able to refund funds for overpaid state duties through the Gosuslugi portal. Alexander Khaminsky, a lawyer and head of the law enforcement center in Moscow and the Moscow Region, told about this on December 30.

"Starting from January 1, an application for a refund of an overpaid fee will be allowed to be submitted through Gosuslugi in any situation, regardless of how this fee was paid," the lawyer told RIA Novosti.
