On December 29, the Russian Treasury announced its readiness to accept payments to the Russian budget system in digital rubles.

"Starting from January 1, 2026, payers using digital wallets on the ruble block platform can make payments to the budget in digital rubles using unique accrual identifiers," the Telegram channel said.

The ministry noted that accepting transfers in digital rubles is also possible to federal budget and autonomous institutions.
