The instruction prepared by the Ministry of Education will bring order to the settlement of conflict situations within schools and will help to build clear rules of interaction for teachers, students and parents. This was stated to Izvestia by Igor Murog, a member of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture.

According to him, the document is designed to ensure fair consideration of controversial cases and to prevent pressure or unfounded accusations against teachers. The new algorithm of actions, the senator noted, will allow school leaders to act consistently and within the framework of the law, which will strengthen confidence in the education system and increase the level of legal protection of teachers.

Murog stressed that when implementing the instructions, it is important to maintain a balance between formal procedures and a lively dialogue between participants in the educational process.

"The purpose of the document is not to strengthen bureaucracy, but to create an effective conflict prevention and resolution system. It all depends on how the school management integrates it into daily practice," the parliamentarian noted.

In addition, according to Murog, for the effective implementation of the new standards, schools need methodological and organizational support: training of principals and teachers, expert advice and legal assistance.

"If access to such resources is provided, the instruction will become a really working tool," Senator Murog added.

Earlier it became known that the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation sent instructions to the regions for heads of educational organizations on how to deal with conflict situations between teachers and students. The goals and objectives of the instruction are to ensure prompt, fair, comprehensive and legitimate conflict resolution, protect the honor and dignity of teaching staff, and comply with the requirements of Federal Law No. 273 "On Education."
