Alexey Naumov, a political scientist and expert at the Russian Council on International Affairs (RIAC), called the Ukrainian track one of the main successes in Russia's foreign policy in 2025.

"The Ukrainian track, both military and diplomatic, has become one of the main Russian successes," the expert emphasized in an interview with Lenta.Ru on Monday, December 29th.

According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin managed to convey to the United States the Russian position on Ukraine during the Anchorage summit. Thus, the Russian leader can be called one of the most successful diplomats of the past year.
