- In St. Petersburg, the curators of a pro-Ukrainian sect were fired from universities
Two curators of the pro-Ukrainian sect "School of a Single Principle", whose activities were suppressed last week, were fired from universities in St. Petersburg. This was reported by TASS with reference to law enforcement agencies.
"We are talking about Olga Dautova and her husband Sergey Khristoforov," the agency's source said.
It is specified that Dautova was a professor at the Ushinsky Academy of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education, and Khristoforov was an associate professor at the Herzen Russian State Pedagogical University.
According to the Izvestia source, the pseudo-religious organization was established in Ukraine. Its main goal was "the awakening of consciousness, the inner spiritual maturation of adepts." The lectures and seminars of the sectarians were ostensibly aimed at teaching healing.
The interlocutor clarified that, in fact, the leaders of the organization are waging a psychomental war against the Russian population. At the meetings, adherents discuss the progress of the special military operation (SVO), hold prayer services for the health of President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, and also call the Ukrainian militants "light forces."
On December 26, St. Petersburg law enforcement agencies interrupted the All-Russian meeting of the pro-Ukrainian religious organization School of the Unified Principle. About 70 people from different regions of Russia attended the meeting. An investigation is being conducted against them, and the issue of initiating a criminal case under Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public dissemination of deliberately false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation") is being resolved. The sanction of the article provides for up to 10 years in prison.
