In Krasnodar, ex-vice Governor Vlasov was sentenced to 11 years in a bribery case.
The Pervomaisky District Court of Krasnodar has convicted Sergei Vlasov, the former deputy governor of the Krasnodar Territory, of accepting a particularly large bribe. This was announced on December 29 in the united press service of the courts of the Krasnodar Territory in the Telegram channel.
According to the investigation, while overseeing the work of the regional Department of construction, Vlasov learned that the general director of NAO RSK KK had received illegal remuneration from subcontractors. After that, the ex-official demanded to transfer to him a bribe in the amount equivalent to 50% of the amounts of such illegal payments.
It is noted that for the remuneration Vlasov promised not to take measures to respond to the identified facts of illegal activities, as well as to facilitate the uninterrupted financing of construction work carried out by NAO RSK KK. The company's CEO informed the law enforcement authorities about the proposal.
Based on the evidence gathered, the court sentenced Vlasov to 11 years in prison.
On December 26, the Leninsky District Court of Kursk sentenced Maxim Vasiliev, a former deputy of the Kursk Regional Duma, to five years in prison in a case of embezzlement. The court found him guilty of embezzlement of budget funds intended for the construction of fortifications in the region.
