Actor Oleshko spoke about the influence of the People's Artist of the Russian Federation Alentova on him.

People's Artist of Russia Vera Alentova was a man of legend. This belief was shared by her colleague, actor Alexander Oleshko, in an interview with a correspondent of Izvestia on December 29.

"I am very grateful to fate that she gave me the opportunity to communicate with Vera Valentinovna, to star in an episode in the film "Envy of the Gods". To have time to say "thank you" to her both as a spectator and as a person who could learn a lot from her: dignity, respect for family, profession," the actor explained.

According to Oleshko, Alentova belonged to the category of meaningful, deep, devoted and very special people.

"She was a very attentive, very gentle, strong, in love person— with Menshov, with her profession, with her daughter, with her family, and with her grandchildren. Such people will always be missed," he concluded.

The farewell to the artist takes place at the Moscow Pushkin Theater. Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a wreath to the ceremony. Alentova will be buried at the Novodevichy cemetery next to her husband, People's Artist of the RSFSR Vladimir Menshov.
