VKKS recommended Vladimir Davydov's candidacy for the post of first Deputy Chairman of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation

The Higher Qualification Board of Judges (HCCC) recommended appointing Vladimir Davydov, Chairman of the Judicial Board for Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, to the post of First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. This was reported on December 29 by a correspondent of Izvestia.

The decision was made unanimously, and Igor Krasnov, Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, took part in the board meeting.

"I support the candidacy of Vladimir Alexandrovich Davydov," he said.

In addition, the board recommended appointing Nikolai Timoshin, head of the HCCC, to the post of Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court, Chairman of the Judicial Board for Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.

The HCCC discussed Davydov's candidacy for recommendation as a candidate for the position of First Deputy chairman on December 26. It was noted that the board would consider the statement of the head of the HCCC Nikolai Timoshin on the recommendation of the Chairman of the Judicial Board for Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation as a candidate for the post of Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court.
