The conversation between the European leaders with US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky lasted more than an hour and concerned specific measures to end the conflict in Ukraine. This was announced by Finnish President Alexander Stubb on December 28.

"I had a wonderful call with Trump, Zelensky, Macron (French President Emmanuel — Ed.) <...> The call lasted an hour. We discussed concrete steps on how to end the conflict," Stubb wrote in his post on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

According to the Finnish leader, the heads of France, Italy, Germany, Poland, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stere and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen also took part in the discussions.
