Private Oleg Ivanov successfully completed the combat mission of storming and capturing an enemy stronghold. The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Monday, December 29.

It is noted that during the assault, Ivanov was one of the first to reach the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The soldier showed professionalism and bravery, as a result of which the Russian Armed Forces were able to establish control over the stronghold. In addition, three opponents were captured.

Thanks to the successful completion of the assigned tasks, the assault groups were able to advance deep into the enemy's defenses and occupy more advantageous positions.

The Defense Ministry also said that Private Ruslan Tsepelev, as part of the tank's crew, inflicted fire damage on an enemy strongpoint and a firing point with a heavy machine gun. During the clash, the Ukrainian Armed Forces actively used artillery and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). However, the soldier was able to correctly take into account the terrain and safely bring the tank to the line from which it became possible to open fire. As a result of the actions of the Russian fighters, the enemy's stronghold was destroyed along with the personnel.

Vladimir Putin summed up the results of the year in the SVR zone, noting the critical depletion of Kiev's resources and the desperate situation of the encircled enemy groups.

A day earlier, Junior Sergeant Vladislav Rassomakha eliminated the infantry commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a rifle. The fighter was able to eliminate more than 10 opponents, which provided significant assistance to the assault units during the breakthrough of the defense and the occupation of new frontiers in the tactical direction. In the course of completing the task, he showed a professional level of proficiency with a sniper rifle.
