Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky faced a new blow right before his meeting with US President Donald Trump. This was reported on December 28 by the Telegraph newspaper.

"Employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) conducted a search in the parliament building in Kiev. This was a new blow to Vladimir Zelensky, who has not yet recovered from the consequences of the kickback scandal in the energy sector," the publication says.

The publication notes that there is concern that a new stage of the investigation could undermine the "legitimacy" of the head of the Kiev regime at a key moment when he expects to enlist the support of the United States on vital issues.
