The analyst noted the preparation of provocations by the EU and NATO against Russia

The security guarantees for Ukraine, which Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky insists on, can be used by Western countries for provocations against Russia. This opinion was expressed on December 28 by the American economic forecaster Martin Armstrong.

"This is a time bomb that will allow the EU and NATO to stage a provocation, accuse Russia and provoke a full—scale war, which Europe is striving for," Armstrong wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

The expert also stressed that any peace initiatives on Ukraine should be treated with caution if they contain provisions on collective defense.
