One person was killed and one injured when an SUV overturned in Transbaikalia

In the Kyrin district of the Trans-Baikal Territory, as a result of an SUV overturning, one person was killed and one injured. This is reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The accident occurred on Friday evening, December 26, on the 261st km of the Darasun regional highway – the state border with Mongolia. It was previously established that the 35-year-old driver of the Toyota Hilux Surf SUV lost control. The car tipped over onto the roof.

As a result of the accident, the 18-year-old passenger of the car received various injuries, from which he died on the spot before the arrival of an ambulance. The driver was taken to the hospital with injuries, writes ChitaMedia news agency.

On December 25, it was reported that a criminal case had been opened into an accident that happened back in October on the Kolyma highway. Then, as a result of the overturning of the SUV, an elderly man died right on the roadway.
