A car with eight people fell through the ice in Yakutsk

In Yakutsk, a car fell through the ice on the Lena River, there were eight people in the cabin, including one child. Five were able to get out, three remained in the car. This was reported on December 27 in the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"Five people got out on their own, previously three, including a child, remained in the car," the Telegram channel said.

It is clarified that divers from the Yakutia Rescue Service are working at the scene, and a psychologist from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is working with the victims.

A total of 20 emergency services specialists and seven pieces of equipment are involved. The incident happened on the way to the ice in an unauthorized place, in the area of sewage discharge into the Lena River channel.

Earlier, on December 22, it was reported that seven cars and two motorcycles were on fire on Donetskaya Street in Moscow. According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire was a dumpster, and it is also possible that it was arson.
