Moscow city services continue to eliminate the consequences of the snowfall

During the snowfall, Moscow city services are cleaning the roadway and pedestrian areas. This was announced on Friday, December 26, by the press service of the metropolitan complex of urban economy.

According to the ministry, as precipitation falls, municipal equipment performs continuous mechanized sweeping and deicing, paying special attention to sidewalks, approaches to bus stops, metro and MCC stations, railway platforms, as well as social and commercial facilities.

It is also noted that during daylight hours, work is underway throughout the city to clean the roofs of residential buildings from snow, while work areas are fenced off for pedestrian safety. The municipal economy complex warned of a possible increase in wind gusts of up to 17 m/s and urged citizens not to take shelter under trees and not to leave cars near them, the Moscow city news agency reports.
