Moscow has compiled a rating of the most forgotten things in a taxi

Most often in 2025, passengers in a Moscow taxi forgot their phones, bags, backpacks and wallets. The Moscow Department of Transport told about this in its Telegram channel on December 26.

The top most forgotten items also include headphones, documents, bags, glasses, cards and cardholders.

In total, more than 450,000 items forgotten by passengers were found in taxi cars in Moscow this year. The Department of Transport noted that at the end of each trip, drivers carefully inspect the interior of the car, and they return most of the items to passengers within one day.

According to Maxim Liksutov, Moscow's Deputy mayor for Transport, more than 1.7 million trips per day are made by taxi in the capital.

Taxi drivers without child restraints will pay up to 200 thousand rubles.

The day before, it was reported that following the results of 11 months of 2025, the number of accidents involving taxi cars on Moscow's roads decreased by 7.2%, and the number of dead and injured in such accidents decreased by 32.1% and 6.2%, respectively.
