Liksutov announced the opening of a new charging hub for electric vehicles
The second large charging complex for electric vehicles, Lefortovsky, has opened in the capital. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
The new facility has become a joint project of Moselectrozaryad LLC and Mosenergo PJSC in partnership with the Moscow Department of Transport.
"On behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, we are continuing the transition to eco-friendly electric transport. The opening of the second Lefortovsky electric hub is an important step in the development of the city's charging infrastructure. The new complex can handle up to 500 vehicles per day," Liksutov said.
In total, the new hub includes ten charging stations for electric cars: nine fast 120 kW charging stations, each capable of simultaneously servicing two cars, and one super—powerful. Thus, the first 240 kW power plant of the Moscow Energy project has been installed on the site. Here you can quickly charge cars with batteries of any capacity.
All charging stations are equipped with three types of connectors — GB/T, NACS and CCS Combo 2, which makes them compatible with modern electric vehicles. As noted in Deptrans, convenient access roads have been organized to the hub, there are spacious parking spaces, a recreation area and a cafe on its territory.
In total, more than 370 charging stations operate in the city as part of the Moscow Energy project, which was launched in 2020 on the initiative of the Mayor of Moscow.
The charging complex is open around the clock. Nightly rates and loyalty programs are provided for users.
