Almost 13 million rubles will be spent on the elimination of landfills in the center of Krasnoyarsk

Krasnoyarsk will spend 12.9 million rubles to eliminate landfills in the Central Region in 2026. There are plans to remove 7.3 thousand cubic meters or 730 trucks of garbage, the press service of the city administration reports.

Over the past 2025, 416 landfills, or more than 10 thousand cubic meters of waste, were removed from the territory of the district. The most extensive work took place near the Badalyk cemetery and on the Northern Highway.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, a fine of up to 100,000 rubles will have to be paid for littering the territory.

Earlier it was reported that the regional authorities will oblige to eliminate unauthorized landfills if the culprits of their occurrence cannot be identified. This is stated in the draft law prepared with the participation of the Russian Environmental Operator (REO).
