A new charging hub for electric vehicles has been opened in Moscow's Lefortovo district. The capacity of the new complex is 1.5 MW. 20 cars can be charged here at the same time, the Moscow Department of Transport announced in its Telegram channel on December 26.

The Lefortovsky complex can service up to 500 vehicles per day. It has nine 120 kW fast charging stations with the ability to simultaneously recharge two cars each. There is also a high-power station (240 kW), where you can quickly charge electric cars with batteries of different capacities. The stations have three types of connectors— GB/T, NACS and CCS Combo 2.

The Department of Transport noted that the hub is open around the clock, has convenient access roads and wide parking spaces, a cafe and a bathroom. It is planned to place a service center for minor maintenance and diagnostics of electric vehicles on the territory. The hub was built by Mosenergo PJSC in partnership with the Moscow Department of Transport.

The first charging hub for electric vehicles (Yuzhny) opened in Moscow at the end of February 2025.

Earlier, on December 24, it was reported that the right of free travel for domestic electric vehicles on federal toll roads in Russia is planned to be extended until 2026. First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov instructed the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to work out the relevant issue.
