The Starry Sky tunnel was lit in Stavropol
The new tunnel "Starry Sky" was opened on October Revolution Avenue in Stavropol. The mayor of the city, Ivan Ulyanchenko, shared footage of the festive art object on his social networks.
The design worked in test mode for several days and managed to impress the townspeople. On Friday, December 26, the tunnel was turned on at full capacity. Now everyone can walk under the glowing neon lights.
According to StavropolMedia news agency, in 2025, the city authorities decided to change the traditional appearance of the New Year's Eve city. In addition to the tunnel, several more luminous objects appeared in the regional capital for 169 million rubles. This includes, in particular, a canopy of garlands for the main Christmas tree and lanterns taller than a man.
Earlier it was reported that the "New Year's Route" campaign will be held in Stavropol from December 23 to December 26. A specially decorated truck with Santa Claus, Snow Maiden and artists will pass through 12 locations in different areas of the city.
