Kaluga-based AGR Holding plant, which previously produced Volkswagen cars, has produced the 50-thousandth crossover of the Russian brand Tenet since the launch of the assembly line in July. This is stated in the company's message, which was received by Izvestia on December 26.

The anniversary model is the mid-size Tenet T7 crossover in Prime configuration with all-wheel drive (analogous to the Chery Tiggo 7L). The list of equipment includes a digital panel with two 12.3-inch screens, dual-zone climate control, electric front seat adjustments, a winter package, an all-round viewing system, front and rear parking sensors, as well as a set of electronic active safety systems.

Currently, the company in the Kaluga region has launched serial production of three Tenet crossovers — T4, T7 and T8. They are manufactured using full-cycle technology, including welding, painting and assembly.

"The AGR Holding plant continues to work on increasing the level of localization, expanding the participation of Russian suppliers and increasing the share of components of domestic production," the company noted.

Earlier, on December 1, it became known that AGR Holding plans to start production of the Tenet T9 crossover in 2026.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
