Operators of attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Vostok group of forces prevented an attempt to transfer reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near Gulyai-pole. This was announced on December 26 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

On the approaches to the village of Gulyai-Pole in the Zaporizhia region, fighters from the strike UAV unit of the Vostok group's unmanned systems forces recorded an attempt to transfer Ukrainian reserves.

During the fighting, several Kozak-type armored vehicles and vehicles used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to transport reserves, food and ammunition were destroyed.

"We are currently working in the Gulyai-Pole area, the situation is not easy, the enemy is snapping, but we are moving forward. The software is good — we use different types of drones, each with its own characteristics and this allows us to perform tasks. There are devices with thermal imaging cameras — we work at night and in any weather," the head of the calculation of operators of attack UAVs with the call sign "Dolgan" told about the current situation.

It is clarified that the city and the surrounding forest belts are under the fire control of the UAV operators of the Vostok group, which does not allow the enemy to regroup, draw up reserves and supply their units in the Gulyai-Pole area.

Earlier, on December 25, it was reported that soldiers of the 71st separate special purpose battalion of the 2nd Guards Combined Arms Army of the Center group of forces eliminated a group of Ukrainian Armed Forces militants who tried to resist in the Lazurny microdistrict in the city of Krasnoarmeysk, Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
