The company commander with the call sign Balsak gave the wounded soldier his weapon and helmet to help and protect him on his way to the hospital. On Friday, December 26, one of the company's riflemen told Izvestia about the feat of a serviceman of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) in the area of a special military operation.

"When I was sent to the hospital, I didn't have any armor, helmet, or weapons with me. Why I want to mention my company commander is that he gave me his weapon, found a bulletproof vest for me, and gave me his helmet. That is, he was, in fact, without anything, but he fully clothed the soldier," said a special forces company scout with the call sign Talib.

He noted that the commanders of the Russian Army are distinguished by their good attitude towards military personnel and mutual assistance. Talib admitted that he was surprised by his commander's action, even despite his extensive experience in the army.

Earlier, on December 15, it became known that a Russian serviceman with the call sign Lev saved a group of attack aircraft from an enemy drone strike in the Kursk region at the last moment. According to the officer, the group, having entered the territory of the region, could not find the Russian position by coordinates, as the house was destroyed. At a critical moment, a Lion fighter suddenly appeared and led the stormtroopers to a safe place, after which a drone was hit at their previous location.
