Tutberidze spoke about Petrosyan's prospects at the Olympics
Russian figure skating coach Eteri Tutberidze noted that her student Adelia Petrosyan was under a lot of emotional stress before the 2025 Russian Championships, Sport-Express reported on December 25.
"Adelia Petrosyan had a lot of emotional stress. There was an injury when it seemed that we would not be able to skate at all, then we were allowed, but at some point we did not have stable triple jumps, and all this was already in some kind of panic. Next, we urgently need to restore ultra-si, and Axel is generally a "visiting" jump," Tutberidze is quoted as saying.
The coach also spoke about the preparations for the Olympics in Italy, noting that the team is currently considering the final content of the programs. She stressed that it makes no sense to skate without ultra-si and that the decision to include jumps will depend on the stability of the performance.
