The Russian military liked how the Su-57 aircraft works after being equipped with a new engine — the fighter successfully manages to bypass radars and electronic warfare systems (EW) at a higher speed. This was announced on December 25 by Sergey Chemezov, CEO of Rostec State Corporation, before a meeting of the State Council on personnel training for the Russian economy.

He noted that the new version of the fighter has much more resources — it has higher speed, longer range and many other good characteristics.

"At least our military is happy. He bypasses all kinds of obstacles very well — radars, electronic warfare," TASS quoted Chemezov as saying.

Rostec reported on December 22 that the Su-57 fighter jet took to the air for the first time with a promising "product 177" engine. It was clarified that the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) is implementing a program to expand production capacity. As the American magazine The National Interest (NI) noted at the same time, the Su-57 significantly surpasses its Western counterparts in many respects.
