The number of accidents involving taxis has decreased in Moscow

According to the results of 11 months of 2025, the number of accidents involving taxi cars on the roads of Moscow decreased by 7.2%, and the number of dead and injured in such accidents — by 32.1% and 6.2%, respectively. On December 25, the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate announced this in its Telegram channel.

In total, from January to November, 1,545 accidents involving taxi cars were registered in the city, 36 people were killed and 1,806 injured in such incidents.

The ministry called on taxi drivers to be attentive on the city's roads, observe the speed limit, safe distance and rules of maneuvering, as well as work and rest conditions.

Taxi drivers without child restraints will pay up to 200 thousand rubles.

Earlier, on December 22, it became known that following the results of 11 months of this year, the number of accidents involving car—sharing drivers in Moscow decreased by 7.3%, and the number of victims in them - by 3.7%.
