Alexander Shokhin, head of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to the next congress of the union in the spring of 2026. This was announced on December 25 by the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov.

"The Chairman of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs invited Putin to the 35th Congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in the spring of the coming year," Peskov said.
