Russian skier Volkov will not take part in the Tour de Ski

Russian skier Sergey Volkov announced on December 24 that he would not take part in the multi-day Tour de Ski race. The athlete announced this in his Telegram channel.

"The suitcase. Railway station. An airport. Kirovo-Chepetsk. See you at the fifth stage of the Cup of Russia and the Race of Champions in Ryazan," wrote Volkov.

The Tour de Ski starts on December 28th.

According to TASS, Volkov has not yet received neutral status from the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS), which is necessary for participation in international competitions.
